Shulman Rogers' Potomac office seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The selected candidate will play an immediate key role in highly diversified family law and fiduciary litigation matters, requiring 5+ years of paralegal experience.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and discovery, organizing documents for discovery and trial, trial and deposition preparation, witness interviews, and electronic filing in Maryland and D.C.; strong research and communication skills

Competenze

• A bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant litigation paralegal experience. Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and court rules related to litigation.
• Familiarity with Maryland and D.C. rules and procedures, and/or ability to proactively learn same.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills, and interpersonal skills, including professionalism when speaking with clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management software, and able to effectively use other litigation software.
• Proven legal research skills; proficiency with LexisNexis or Westlaw.

The successful candidate with 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience will assume an immediate key role in highly diversified family law and fiduciary litigation matters.
