Job summary

Fort Zumwalt R-II School District in O'Fallon, Missouri, is seeking a Future Day Custodian to join our staff. You will keep classrooms, hallways and grounds clean, assist with building setup, and help ensure a safe, attractive learning environment for students and staff.

Starting date is immediate. The position is at-will for 12 months with a salary range of $15.50 to $19.50 per hour, depending on experience. You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds and work various shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• The custodian should demonstrate the ability to perform the tasks listed.
• Must complete assigned tasks in accordance with established time and quality control guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Keep building, premises and entryways neat and clean at all times.
• Clean classrooms, bathrooms, hallways per specified standards.
• Maintain custodial closets and regulate building climate control for efficiency.
• Lock/unlock doors as required and assist with building setup and events.
• Move furniture, assist in cafeteria, and perform emergency cleaning as needed.
