Job summary

Pathways to Life, Inc. seeks a compassionate Qualified Professional (QP) to join its Intensive In-Home Services team in Nags Head, NC.

The QP delivers family-focused therapeutic interventions in members’ homes, schools, and community settings, with the goal of stabilizing families and improving daily functioning. The role requires flexible scheduling, crisis-responsive abilities, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support children and adolescents with emotional or behavioral

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as specified with relevant experience with children/adolescents.
• Experience with mental health, substance use, developmental, emotional, or behavioral needs.
• Experience in home-, school-, and community-based settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face, family-focused therapeutic interventions in members’ homes, schools, and community settings.
• Help families develop coping, communication, problem-solving, parenting, and behavior-management skills.
• Provide psychoeducation on diagnoses, treatments, and coping strategies.
• Deliver interventions per Person-Centered Plans and Intensive In-Home service model.
• Develop and revise Person-Centered Plans and Crisis Plans.
• Assist with crisis prevention and stabilization strategies.
• Respond during crises following safety procedures.
• Monitor progress and document effectiveness of interventions.
• Complete service notes and required documentation timely.
• Assist with Treatment Authorization Requests and clinical documentation.
• Coordinate with schools and community providers.
