Job summary

Clarvida in Juniata County, PA is seeking a Family Finding Caseworker to support children, youth and families in collaboration with Children & Youth Services. You will meet with families to explain the Family Finding process and identify relatives or other supportive adults to help youth maintain lifelong connections.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $18.00–$19.00 per hour, a typical 8am–4:30pm schedule, and benefits including leave, health plans, daily earnings access, and licensure

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma (GED) with 3 years related experience in working with children and families.
• Or an Associate’s degree in Human-Services or Child Development with 1 year related experience.
• Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Meet with families to explain the Family Finding process.
• Identify and contact relatives and/or other supportive adults for children in foster care.
• Coordinate meetings to develop plans for families to maintain lifelong connections to youth.
• Collaborate with Children & Youth Services to support placement stability.

About Your Role

As a Family Finding Caseworker for Juniata County, you will work with children, youth and families across Juniata County in conjunction with Children & Youth Services. Meeting with families to explain the Family Finding process, you will work to identify and contact relatives and/or other supportive adult relatives for children in foster care using a multitude of services and approved systems to gather data and coordinate meetings focused on developing plans for families to commit and maintain lifelong connections to the youth.

• Competitive pay rate - $18.00 to $19.00/per hour - based on education and experience
• Schedule is typically 8am to 4:30pm, M-F (is dependent on the families’ needs)
• Quarterly Productivity Bonus of $250 for meeting productivity requirements
