Granite School District in Utah seeks an Outreach Worker to oversee a Family Engagement Center at Kearns High School. This 29-hour-per-week paraeducator role focuses on strengthening school-family partnerships and expanding literacy and attendance initiatives in the Dos Mundos & Diamond Ridge communities.

Responsibilities include building relationships with families and community partners, delivering district-approved adult education classes (ESL, computer, parenting), attending SEP/SEOP

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with schools and families preferred.
• Spanish-speaking ability strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Family Engagement Center operations and outreach at designated schools.
• Build positive relationships with the community, parents, students, teachers, staff, and administrators.
• Outreach to engage parents in literacy, attendance, and other identified needs.
• Collaborate with community partners to support student learning and family involvement.
• Teach or facilitate district-approved adult programs (e.g., ESL, computer, parenting).
• Attend SEP/SEOP/APTT meetings and other required meetings; turn in monthly reports.
