Job summary

FamilyForward in Missouri is seeking a part-time Family Engagement Specialist to supervise court-ordered visitation sessions, provide coaching to parents, and document activities. You will monitor interactions, support families, and transport children as needed.

Evenings and weekends are required to meet family schedules. You will collaborate with case managers, maintain professional boundaries, and complete timely reports and required trainings.

Qualifications

• What you need: a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with children is preferred.
• Preference for knowledge of Missouri Foster Care program.
• Must have a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and a good driving record.
• Reliable personal transportation required; pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and facilitate visits between youth in foster care and biological parents.
• Provide guidance and education to parents during visits.
• Document visitation activities accurately and timely.
• Transport children to and from court-ordered visitation sessions.
• Coordinate visitation schedules with families and other parties.
• Maintain communication with case managers and placement providers.
• Complete required trainings and maintain confidentiality.
