FOUR OAKS FAMILY AND CHILDRENS SERVICES is seeking a compassionate Family Advocate to support families and children at our Ankeny campus. You will connect families with community resources, advocate for their needs, and guide them through referrals, funding opportunities, and care coordination.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field and have strong interpersonal and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred.
• Experience in mental health or child welfare settings desired.
• Intermediate computer skills in MS Office environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to families navigating challenges.
• Connect families with community resources and services.
• Advocate for families and help overcome barriers to services.
• Coordinate referrals, funding opportunities, and evaluations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and contacts.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for additional support.
