Job summary

EDU-AIDs is seeking a qualified Family & Consumer Sciences (FACS) Substitute Teacher to support students in Fairfield, CT for a temporary assignment of approximately 1-2 months.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching FACS, with a strong background in Fashion or Cooking/Culinary Arts, and will maintain a positive, safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Experience teaching Fashion, Cooking, Culinary Arts or related FACS subjects.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing classroom environment.
• Prior K-12 teaching or substitute teaching experience preferred.
