Job summary

Tribal Health is seeking a Family Medicine provider for outpatient care in Michigan, delivering comprehensive, culturally responsive services to patients across the lifespan. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality care in a community-focused setting.

The role requires MI licensure, active DEA, and Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and CMAs.

Qualifications

• MI state license is required.
• Active DEA registration is required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Outpatient Family Medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to manage care across age ranges from newborns to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Family Medicine care.
• Manage routine appointments and minor acute conditions.
• Medication management and patient counseling.
• Support staff including RN/LPN and CMAs on site.
• Credentialing expected within 2–3 weeks.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare provider who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Specialty: Family Medicine

Work Setting: Outpatient

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 0800-1700, will eventually switch to 4 10 hour shifts.

Patient Mix by Age: newborn to geriatric

Patient Volume: ~8-15 patients per day depending on patient mix

Types of Cases: routine appointments, minor acute, medication management, etc.

Specialties and Staff on Site: 4-6 RN's or LPN's, 6 CMA's

Credentialing: 2-3 weeks

Requirements:

Licensure: MI State License and Active DEA

Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine

Life Support Certifications: BLS, ACLS
