Job summary

Greater Minnesota Family Services is seeking a full-time Family Based Therapist for Big Stone County. Services are provided primarily in clients’ homes with occasional community or school involvement. The role requires a licensed mental health professional and experience with children and families.

The position offers a flexible schedule, including after-school and evening hours, with thorough documentation and billing responsibilities as part of daily practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW/LPCC/LMFT/LP).
• Experience working with children and families in direct care.
• Knowledge of behavior modification, child development, communication, decision-making, anger management, and social skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services primarily in families' homes, with occasional work in the community or schools.
• Schedule flexible hours, including after-school and evening appointments.
• Document case notes and billable hours accurately.
• Collaborate with partner agencies serving youth.
• Deliver approximately 110 client hours per month (≈26–28 hours/week).
