Job summary

Central Bucks School District is seeking a PA-certified Family and Consumer Science teacher to serve as a Long Term Substitute at Central Bucks High School - East and South/Central Bucks School District. The assignment is temporary with dates around January 6, 2027 through June 11, 2027 for LTS and December 3, 2026 through March 3, 2027 for LTPDS, depending on needs.

The successful candidate will know content, pedagogy, and PA Academic Standards, and will guide instruction to promote student

Qualifications

• PA certified Family and Consumer Science PK-12 teacher credentials required.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania Academic Standards and effective instructional strategies.
• Ability to prepare, direct and guide instruction for diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong content knowledge and pedagogy.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned to PA standards.
• Assess student progress and provide ongoing feedback in Family & Consumer Science.

LOCATION: Central Bucks High School - East and South/Central Bucks School District

AVAILABLE: January 6, 2027 - June 11, 2027 LTS (dates are approx.) and also December 3, 2026 - March 3, 2027 LTPDS (dates are approx.)

COMPENSATION: LTS- Salary according to CBEA Agreement/Salaried/Benefits eligible

DESCRIPTION:

CBSD is accepting applications for a PA certified Family and Consumer Science teacher.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy, knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards and a sound understanding of how to prepare, direct and guide instruction
