Job summary

The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes are seeking a Family Advocate to provide and coordinate services for Early Childhood Services families, acting as a liaison between families, staff, and service providers.

You will work with parents to support positive growth, document goals and progress, obtain resources, and participate in community activities. Montana driver’s license required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years of experience coordinating services for families.
  • 1 year of case management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of community resources and linking families to agencies.
  • Valid Montana driver's license.

Job description

The Family Advocate provides and/or coordinates services and activities with Early Childhood Services families acting as a liaison between families, staff members, community members and service providers; works in a partnership with parents to support positive growth and document family goals and progress; obtains needed information and resources that affect/support families; and engages in community and family activities.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Human Services, Early Childhood Education, Human Development, or another related field.

  • Two (2) years of experience working with families coordinating services.

  • One (1) year experience performing case management functions. (preferred).

  • Knowledge of community resources and skills to link families with appropriate agencies and staff.

  • Current Montana Driver's License.
