Job summary

Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a full-time role to promote progress for children and families across Head Start standards, building respectful, culturally responsive relationships with families.

The position supports state and federal compliance, assists with resources, and requires effective communication and a non-judgmental attitude when working with staff, families, and children.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Prior employment or volunteer experience working directly with income qualifying families preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with federal, state, and agency policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of local community resources
  • Provide quality nursing services that comply with federal and state guidelines
  • Ability to build new and maintaining relationship/ partnerships within community entities
  • Complete annual training and continuing education requirements.
  • Participate in all required meetings and trainings
  • Adhere to all CNCAP policies and procedures

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Promote children and family's progress across the standards as outlined in the Head Start Parent, Family and Community Engagement Framework, to build respectful, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with families. Individuals would also provide assistance and support to the families to ensure all state and federal standards are being met. Individuals must always keep our mission and our Core Values at the Forefront when working with our families and community entities. Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective communication and a non-judgmental attitude when working with staff, families, and children.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Comply with federal, state, and agency policies and procedures
  2. Knowledge of local community resources
  3. Provide quality nursing services that comply with federal and state guidelines
  4. Ability to build new and maintaining relationship/ partnerships within community entities
  5. Complete annual training and continuing education requirements.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday
REPORTS TO: Teacher Center Specialist
JOB STATUS: Full-Time

PAY: $15.98-$17.65/hour (depending on qualifications). This position is eligible for a Bilingual (Spanish) pay differential!
