Groundworks New Mexico is seeking a capable coordinator to plan and lead activities for children, families, and caregivers. You will coordinate guest speakers, partner organizations, and special events, recruit and train volunteers, and maintain a welcoming Family Activity Center.

Plan and lead engaging activities for children, parents, and families that strengthen relationships, parenting skills, and social connections. Coordinate guest speakers, community partners, and special events. Recruit, train, and support volunteers. Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Maintain the Family Activity Center and supplies. Track participation, volunteer activities, and program records. Collaborate with staff and partners to support family success.
2+ years of experience supporting children, families, or community programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, and uphold professional boundaries. Valid driver's license, insurance, reliable transportation, ability to lift 20 lbs., and availability for evenings and occasional weekends. Preferred: Bachelor's degree, trauma-informed experience, and bilingual English/Spanish.
