Job summary

The Department of Social Sciences at Texas A&M International University seeks qualified applicants for part-time Fall Adjunct Faculty appointments in Sociology. Successful candidates may teach up to nine semester hours each term, hold office hours, and assist students as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Sociology or closely related field with 18 graduate hours in Sociology.
• Doctorate in Sociology preferred; doctoral qualification with 18 graduate hours is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 9 semester credit hours per term as needed.
• Hold regular office hours and assist students as required.
• Face-to-face instruction on campus and maintain a consistent on-campus schedule.
