Job summary

Aspen High School, part of the Aspen School District, is seeking an assistant coach for the boys' soccer program for the 2026-27 season. The role supports the head coach in planning and leading an education-based athletic program focused on empathy and integrity.

The position reports to the Athletic Director and the AHS Boys Soccer Head Coach, with a stipend-based compensation for the season and duties including practices, games, and supervision of players and staff.

Qualifications

• Must meet the coaching requirements of CHSAA and/or the State Department of Education.
• Align with the ethical standards & mission of the Athletic Department.
• Experience playing or coaching in an education based athletic program preferred.
• Complete district paperwork & background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coach with planning and leading the athletic program.
• Attend practices, games, and meetings; ensure safety and discipline.
• Maintain equipment, uniforms, and transportation logistics as needed.
• Uphold CHSAA rules, school policies, and ethical standards.
