Job summary

Devine + Partners (D+P), a Philadelphia public relations firm, invites applications for public relations interns to join our fast-paced team. Interns will gain hands-on experience working with our team on essential client projects.

Located in Center City, Philadelphia, D+P specializes in research-based public relations, content creation, issues management, digital communications, and social media. During Fall, Spring and Summer semesters, interns work part-time on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be current college juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or other relevant business field. Recent college graduates will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conducting research as it relates to existing client work and new business proposals
• Drafting press releases, pitches, media advisories, blogs and other written materials
• Researching media and influencer targets and building media and influencer lists
• Crafting social posts for D+P and client social media pages
• Monitoring media outlets for client mentions
• Staffing events to assist in media management

Through this program, interns will gain experience in a hands-on environment working directly with our team of skilled professionals. Because we are a nimble agency, we often rely heavily on our interns to help our staff complete a variety of essential client projects.

Located in Center City, Philadelphia, D+P is a leading, independent communications firm specializing in research-based public relations , content creation , issues management , digital communications, message development and social media . During the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters, we engage a team of interns who work on a part-time, rotating basis as outlined below. Please note this is subject to change.

We're ideally looking for interns who can join us in-person on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. In-person availability is preferred to maximize engagement and collaboration, but remote participation is possible throughout the week.

Please note: The Devine + Partners team is working a hybrid schedule. This internship will include in-person and virtual components.

The required working hours are structured so that students are able to accommodate classes, other jobs and academic activities.This is a paid internship. To support team building, on Thursdays, the company shares a group lunch for the entire staff, allowing us to share the experiences of our week.
