Job summary

24hrsafetyllc is seeking a dedicated professional to support client operations in inspecting and maintaining fall protection equipment. This full-time direct hire position requires a high school diploma, a TWIC card, and a solid background in mechanical repairs and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate will be flexible with hours and willing to travel. Key responsibilities include inspecting, repairing, and ensuring safety standards for equipment in compliance with manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with 2+ years’ experience in industrial fall protection.
• Ability to travel and work overtime, including on-call, weekends, and holidays.
• Skill in inspection, repair, maintenance, and testing techniques for safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and replace fall protection equipment.
• Assist in safety inspections and respond to client inquiries.
• Process and track warranty returns as required.

Job description

Position Summary

Supports client and internal site operations by inspecting, repairing and evaluating customer and 24hr owned equipment, such as harnesses, SRL (self-retractable lifelines), lanyards, cable ladders, tripods, davit arms, entry devices and other equipment associated with fall protection.

Essential Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and/or replace equipment. Using hand tools, and monitoring devices.
• Dismantle and examine mechanical parts, replaces worn or damaged parts.
• Decon equipment only with manufacturer approved solutions.
• Assist in facility safety inspections, customer walk-thru’s.
• Respond to client questions promptly and professionally
• Working conditions include restricted movement, on-site work, lifting or carrying of heavy objects.
• Process and track all customer and 24hr-safety warranty returns
• Adhere to all company policies.
• Additional duties as assigned by department supervisor or upper mgmt.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined using tools to upkeep equipment
• 2 plus years’ experience in industrial fall protection.
• Current TWIC Card.
• Skill in inspection, repair, maintenance and testing techniques for safety equipment and systems.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract.
• Competent computer skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be flexible to work long hours including on-call, weekends and holiday schedule.
• Willingness to travel a must.
• All inspections, repairs and maintenance on equipment is performed in accordance with safety and manufacture guidelines

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time - direct hire employment opportunity. The employee must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed. Overnight travel likely. Additional hours may be needed. On-call availability required.
