Job summary

ADL’s Mountain States team is seeking a Fall Denver Operations Intern for the period from September 14 to December 18, 2026. This internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit and office management, community engagement, and program development, with a hybrid Denver campus requirement.

Responsibilities include attending regional office meetings, supporting event and board activities, updating databases, and communicating ADL’s mission to stop antisemitism and hate.

Overview

ADL Fall 2026 Internship Description

ADL’s Mountain States team is looking for a dynamic intern to join us from September 14 to December 18, 2026. The ideal candidate will have experience with nonprofits or as a volunteer with a community organization. Our Regional Operations internship provides the opportunity for students to gain practical experience with basic nonprofit and office management, community engagement, and program development.

Application portals will close at 12PM ET on August 14th, 2026. ADL will confirm the selected candidates by mid-August.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Participate in Mountain States Regional Office meetings to gain a better understanding of the mission of ADL and familiarity with our community service work.
  • Observe the respective manager, and designated colleagues, to gain real-world work experience in, and a greater understanding of, ADL's mission to fight antisemitism, extremism, and hate.
  • Update and maintain databases of key community contacts to assist with timely and effective communication on ADL’s strategic priorities, programs, and initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to special events and board, committee, or community meetings.

Compensation and Hours

  • This internship is paid at local minimum wage or 15/hr (whichever is higher).
  • The internship is 15 hours per week.
  • This internship will be hybrid, with on-site presence required In Denver.

What will you do during this internship?

  • You will learn about real-life decision-making challenges and help us develop real-time solutions.
  • You will have the opportunity to present your work at internal forums within ADL.
  • You will have practical, hands-on experience with basic nonprofit and office management, community engagement, and program development
  • Collaborate with, meet and learn from ADL subject matter experts at all levels and become familiar with the varied work we do to “stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.”
