Job summary

Deseret Book Company seeks a part-time Retail Associate at our Mesa, AZ store to sell LDS curriculum and clothing products and deliver exceptional customer service. You will assist customers with fit, operate the register, restock shelves, and help with merchandise presentation in a friendly, team-oriented environment.

The position requires flexibility to work days, evenings, Saturdays and holidays, with a supportive workplace that values inclusivity and a strong sense of community.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and sales skills are required.
• Ability to interact with customers in-person and over the phone daily.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, Saturdays, and holidays.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sell LDS Church curriculum and clothing products in a retail store environment.
• Assist customers with fit and usage of clothing items and related products.
• Provide world-class sales and customer service.
• Operate cash registers, locate products, take orders, gift-wrap, etc.
• Maintain store appearance by stocking shelves and merchandising.
