Job summary

Acquire4Hire in Spartanburg, SC seeks an Early Childhood Teacher to lead our 2s and 3s classroom at a private faith-based preschool. We offer small classes, personalized care, and an outdoor learning center to support essential milestones through faith-based, play-based learning.

You will collaborate with families, maintain high standards, and participate in ongoing professional development while ensuring safety and a nurturing environment for toddlers.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; child development coursework is preferred.
• At least one year of professional experience with toddlers or young children in licensed childcare.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must pass a South Carolina background check, fingerprinting, and central registry check.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage exploration, creativity, and spiritual and language development.
• Utilize the outdoor learning center daily to lead nature-inspired exploration, physical development, and play-based environmental discovery.
• Provide individualized focus in small classes, tracking milestones and supporting social skills and emotional regulation.
• Participate in continuous quality loop assessments and professional development to uphold 5-star standards.
• Build strong relationships with families through daily updates and regular progress communications.
• Maintain a healthy classroom environment, ensuring hygiene, safety, and security for children.
