Job summary

The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is seeking a Classroom Aide to support the lead teacher in a faith-filled learning environment.

You will assist with instruction, supervision, and classroom management while reinforcing Catholic identity and values. Responsibilities include helping with activities, supervising students, preparing materials, and providing clerical support as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with teachers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with classroom instruction and activities.
• Support individual or small group learning under teacher guidance.
• Help maintain an organized and clean classroom environment.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and recess.
• Reinforce positive behavior and the school’s Catholic values.
• Prepare instructional materials and classroom resources.
• Assist with clerical duties as needed (e.g., copying, filing).
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings as required.
