Job summary

Fort Wayne Community Schools in Indiana is seeking a teacher to provide instructional services aligned with district standards and state/federal requirements. The role follows a school-year schedule, with typical hours 7:45am to 3:45pm, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will hold a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels or be eligible for an alternative credential.

Qualifications

• Must possess knowledge of effective practices including principles theories procedures and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
• Must possess Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels OR be eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• REPA/REPA 3 Licensure Options include Elementary Generalist K-6.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards in alignment with district, state, and federal requirements.
• Deliver instruction following the school-year schedule and school hours 7:45am-3:45pm.
