Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering Inc. is seeking a Failure Analysis Technician to systematically process and evaluate returned medical products. You will conduct detailed failure analyses, document findings, and ensure FDA-compliant reporting practices.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of electromechanical devices and proficiency with basic lab equipment. The successful candidate will review drawings and schematics, maintain meticulous records, and keep all test equipment calibrated.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work experience in a related role.
• Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electromechanical devices.
• Experience with basic lab test and measurement equipment.
• Ability to analyze data and report findings.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to adapt to unexpected situations in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities daily.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Systematically process, sort, and prioritize returned medical products for evaluation
• Conduct failure analysis of returned medical products and document findings, including reviewing and interpreting logged activity data and physical evaluation
• Accurately report product investigations within a FDA-compliant Quality Management System following good documentation practices
• Review mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and software description documents
• Actively participate in maintaining records on returned products
• Actively participate in maintaining returned material procedures
• Proactively ensure all test equipment remains calibrated and ready for use
• Operate computer based data acquisition equipment
