TSMC Washington Failure Analysis Lab is recruiting for a highly motivated individual to sustain the failure analysis operation in a fast-paced environment. As a Failure Analysis Technician,you will prepare and analyze samples from silicon wafers at various stages of completion to support fab operations. This involves generating data for engineering team to monitor the performance of fab tools, identifying the root causes of quality issues, making informed decisions on material disposition, and evaluating proposed fab changes. Additionally, you will be working with various analytic tools in the lab. To excel in this role, you must possess strong debugging skills, be an excellent team player, can multitask, and pay attention to details. Furthermore, you must be adaptable and willing to work on any shift within a condensed 12-hour shift configuration.

This position operates on-site at our Camas, Washington location and is required to work 100% on-site. Must be adaptable and willing to work on any shift within a condensed 12-hour shift configuration. Training will be on 8-hour shift and then move to 12-hour shift configuration after training.
At TSMC, your base pay is just one component of your comprehensive compensation package. For new hires in this position, the starting salary typically ranges between $22.25 and $24.44 per hour. The full salary range for this Job Grade extends from $22.25 - $26.15 depending on factors such as skills, qualifications, education, experience, tenure, and position level. TSMC’s total compensation package also includes market-competitive pay, profit sharing and incentive bonuses, and tuition assistance.
