Responsibilities

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:$63,900.00 - $95,900.00**Failure Analysis Engineers** are a key resource for the manufacturing team, supporting validation of new processes or material and the identification of issues and corrective actions.This position will primarily work within a laboratory environment at a manufacturing site in Neenah, WI. **Key Job Accountabilities:*** Support manufacturing by troubleshooting product failures in both manufacturing and customer sites.* Physical analysis of defective electronic, electrical and mechanical components.* Support introduction of new product, process or material by analysis of assemblies.* Monitor manufacturing processes using analysis test vehicles.* Operate a variety of lab equipment to complete analysis.* Generate reports to summarize findings using Google Workspace platform.**Additional Accountabilities:*** Assist in assessment and management of 3rd party services.* Research material properties and specifications and application.* Establish and document standard assessment practices.* Evaluate and purchase equipment to upgrade or meet new requirements.* Manage lab equipment maintenance and calibration.* Manage control consumable materials.**Education/Experience Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree with 3 to 5 years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.* Minimum of 3 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting failure analysis, rework or repair is preferred.
