Job summary

Eurofins EAG Laboratories in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer for an onsite, full-time role. You will evaluate electrical and mechanical characteristics of ICs and components to determine causes of failure, and develop methods to improve processes.

A BS in a technical field and 5+ years in semiconductor failure analysis are preferred. The role requires hands-on lab work, collaboration with customers, and the ability to support urgent analyses with occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of direct experience in Semiconductor or Electronics Failure Analysis.
• ISO 27001 information security compliance expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on analytical work on electronic components.
• Review and approve analysis data and reports.
• Develop methods, processes, and equipment to improve failure analysis.
• Interface with external customers to maintain professional relationships.
• Identify and resolve problems within group operations.
• Develop and deliver technical content for operations and business development.
