About Our Hospitals
Emory's Neurocritical Care faculty practice across three distinct campuses and a tele-neurocritical care program across the Emory Healthcare’s network of hospitals, each contributing to a diverse and academically rich clinical experience:
Emory University Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital are both Comprehensive Stroke Centers with high-volume endovascular stroke practices, providing faculty with extensive exposure to complex cerebrovascular and neurocritical pathology.
Grady Memorial Hospital is the city of Atlanta's only Level 1 Trauma Center and is also home to a neurotrauma service, offering faculty unique exposure to severe neurotrauma and complex critical care cases within a high-acuity, safety-net hospital environment.
Emory University Hospital Midtown rounds out the three-campus system, broadening the range of patients with a large skull-base and complex spine neurosurgical population.
All three campuses have robust world-class neurosurgical and neurology services and are clinical sites for Emory’s residency programs.
Together, these three campuses and tele neurocritical care program give faculty a breadth of clinical material, trainee interaction, and academic opportunity that few programs can match.
