Kent State University seeks a non-tenure track faculty member for the BSN program at the Salem Campus in Salem, OH. The candidate should have med/surg and critical care nursing experience and hold a current Ohio Nursing license. This is a 9-month faculty appointment focused on clinical teaching and student mentorship.
Required qualifications include a BSN and MSN in nursing, plus two to five years of relevant experience; teaching or clinical experience is preferred. A PhD is a plus.

KENT STATE UNIVERSITY SEEKING A CANDIDATE FOR A NON-TENURE TRACK FACULTY POSITION WITH EXPERIENCE IN MED/SURG AND CRITICAL CARE FOR THE BSN PROGRAM AT THE SALEM CAMPUS.
A BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN NURSING AND A MASTER'S DEGREE IN A NURING FIELD IS REQUIRED AS WELL AS TWO TO FIVE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN MED/SURG AND CRITICAL CARE NURSING.
CANDIDATE MUST HOLD A CURRENT VALID NURSING LICENSE AS A REGISTERED NURSE IN THE STATE OF OHIO. PREVIOUS TEACHING AND/OR CLINICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
A PH.D. IS A PLUS.

Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally.
