Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a full-time Faculty Physician – Internal Med to deliver care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Des Moines, IA. MD & DO in Family or Internal Medicine encouraged to apply.

As a Faculty Physician, you will educate residents within a 24/7 inpatient service and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive primary care. The role emphasizes education, holistic care, and a strong community health mission.

Qualifications

• MD or DO in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Iowa.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.
• Experience in rural healthcare or community health center setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate and supervise residents on a day‑to‑day basis in a 24/7 inpatient service.
• Develop rotation objectives and coordinate didactics.
• Provide patient care in PHC's clinics with a multidisciplinary team.
• Engage patients in holistic care and quality improvement.
