Job summary

The UPMC Headache Center within the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine seeks a faculty candidate for the Headache Division. The faculty will serve as a clinician or clinician‑scientist in the Headache program under the leadership of Dr. Page B.

Pennell and Dr. Robert Kaniecki. Candidates must hold an MD or DO, have completed a Headache fellowship, and be board certified or eligible in Neurology and Headache Medicine, with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

Overview

The Department of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC is seeking a faculty candidate in the Headache Division. The faculty will serve as a clinician or clinician‑scientist in the Headache program under the leadership of Dr. Page B. Pennell, Chair of Neurology, and Dr. Robert Kaniecki, Headache Division Chief. Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, have completed a Headache fellowship, and be board certified or eligible in Neurology and Headache Medicine, with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.

Opportunity Details

• Become part of the Headache Division within the Department of Neurology, with 5 adult and 1 pediatric headache board‑certified physicians, 3 APPs, and 1–2 fellows each year.
• Collaborate with neuroophthalmology, neurovestibular, psychiatry and neurosurgical colleagues as well as clinicians in the internationally recognized UPMC Concussion program.
• Leverage available clinical research foundational funds if desired.
