Job summary

The Department of Radiology in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle is recruiting for a full‑time faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor without tenure (WOT) by funding, to join the Emergency and Trauma Radiology section with a July 1, 2027 start date.

We staff a busy emergency radiology practice at Harborview Medical Center, with teaching of medical students and radiology residents, plus three Emergency Radiology

Qualifications

• MD or DO, or foreign equivalent, in medicine.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Washington State.
• Board certified, or board eligible, in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency, or foreign equivalent, in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology or at least 3 months of experience in Emergency Radiology.
• Excellence in academic achievement as demonstrated by a record of scientific presentation and/or publications.

Responsibilities

• Teach, train, and supervise medical students, radiology residents, and fellows.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities in Emergency Radiology and related fields.

Education

MD or DO or foreign equivalent

Washington State medical licensure

Board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology

ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency

Fellowship in Emergency Radiology or 3 months experience

Academic achievement (publications/presentations)
