Job summary

Closet Factory, a leading custom storage solutions provider, is seeking a dependable shop/factory worker to join our team in Houston. The role involves manufacturing wood parts, using hand tools and machinery, and ensuring quality before delivery to customers' homes.

Ideal candidates are team players who are detail oriented, English-speaking, with a valid driver’s license and computer skills. Prior experience with table saw, nail gun, CNC or edgebander is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must speak English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experienced with woodworking hand tools (nail gun, table saw).
• Woodworking machinery experience a plus (CNC, edgebander).

Responsibilities

• Manufacture wood parts for Closet Factory products.
• Prepare jobs and check accuracy and quality before delivery.
• Support production team on shop floor.
• Participate in training and continuous improvement.

Our company, Closet Factory, is the custom storage solution authority serving the worldwide need for custom space organization throughout the home. We design, sell and install custom closets, home offices, garages, home theaters, pantries, bookshelves and more. Our products are of the highest quality. We have been in business for over 25 years and have locations across the country. We have experienced substantial, long‑term growth and as a result are searching for another member to add to our close-knit team of people to manufacture our products.

Our factory produces all of the wood parts to our complete product line using the 32-millimeter system. Members of our factory prepare each job and check it for accuracy and quality before it is sent to the client’s home.
