Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Facility Warehouser in Ambridge, PA to perform day-to-day warehouse duties including shipping, receiving and inventory control. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.

Responsibilities include preparing orders for delivery, stocking and labeling items, and ensuring accuracy against bills of lading. You will operate material handling and tinting equipment and maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Receive and process warehouse stock (pick, unload, label, store).
• Check incoming merchandise against bills of lading and invoices for accuracy.
• Perform inventory controls and maintain quality standards.
• Load/unload products from deliveries.
• Operate tinting and mixing equipment and material handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and optimize space utilization.
• Ensure stockroom is organized and up to date.
• Record diary logs into inventory and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate with supervisors and coworkers and comply with safety and security policies.

Job description

The Facility Warehouser performs day-to-day warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control and general administrative functions.

• Location: 2301 Duss Avenue, Building #11, Suite 23, Ambridge, PA 15003
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am -5:00pm (seasonal not available)
• Compensation: $17.00 - $19.99 hourly

Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors.

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
• Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English
• Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have at least one (1) year of work experience mixing or blending raw materials and making a product in an industrial batch process
• Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)
• Have at least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
• Have prior work experience operating tinting or color matching equipment
• Have prior work experience repairing spray equipment
