Job summary

SES Energy in Golden Meadow, LA is seeking a Facility Technician to support pulling jobs, loading/unloading equipment, washing and staging gear, and ensuring inspections are current at SES and customer locations.

You will remove outdated slings, install recertified slings, perform NDE (wet mag, dye penetrant) on pad-eyes, complete ASME B30.9 visual inspections, and maintain accurate inspection forms and logs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• A clean work, driving, and criminal history record.

Responsibilities

• Pulls jobs, loads and unloads equipment, washes and stages gear, and ensures inspections are current at SES and customer locations.
• Removes outdated slings and prepares reports for recertification at SES and customer locations.
• Installs recertified slings at SES and customer locations.
• Ensures all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Performs inspection and maintenance on all equipment as required.
• Performs NDE inspection (wet mag, dye penetrant) on equipment pad-eyes as required.
• Performs visual inspections on equipment and slings per ASME B30.9 as required.
• Maintains and submits accurate inspection forms and sling change logs.
• Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Preferred, but not required

• 6 months experience in NDE, current NDE Level II certification a plus
• 6 months experience in Rigging, current Rigging Gear and Sling Inspector Level II
