Job summary

Foxtrot Aviation Services in Rhode Island is hiring for day shift cleaning positions at the T.F. Green International Airport (PVD). Open and flexible availability is required, including weekends and some holidays, with shifts from 9:00 am–12:00 pm and 5:00 pm–8:00 pm.

Full-time and part-time shifts are available. Responsible candidates will perform cleaning tasks, safety-compliant duties, and teamwork to meet high hygiene standards and support aviation operations.

Qualifications

• Must pass a 10-year background check.
• Must pass a drug test including marijuana.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces and restrooms.
• Empty and dispose of waste and recycling; maintain hygiene across common areas.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces like doorknobs and light switches.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies for daily use.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards promptly to supervisors.
• Communicate scheduling needs clearly to supervision and on-site management.
• Verify hours worked for accurate payroll processing.
• Complete required Foxtrot Aviation training and participate in team goals.

This is a day shift position. Applicants are asked to have open and flexible availability including weekends and some holidays. Full-Time and Part Time Shifts are available!

Foxtrot provides members of the aviation industry with top-of-the-line aircraft detailing, line service and facility cleaning services. We service a wide variety of aircraft and facilities both large and small! This position is based out of the T.F. Green International airport (PVD) ; our company is continually growing, and we need candidates who meet and exceed our expectations of becoming the nation’s leading aircraft detailing and facility support company!

Job Description: This is a day shift position. Applicants are asked to have open and flexible availability to work both weekdays weekends and some holidays. shift Scheduled 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Cleaning Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces, restrooms, and common areas ensuring a high level of hygiene.
• Empty and properly dispose of waste and recycling bins throughout the facility.
• Clean and disinfect common areas such as bathrooms, break rooms, kitchenettes, and meeting rooms.
• Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring that all necessary products are available for use.

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all internal and customer safety policies. Report any hazards, injuries, or concerns promptly to supervisors.

Communication

• Effectively communicate scheduling needs to your supervisor and maintain open lines of communication with co-workers, supervisors, and on-site management.

Attendance

• Follow Foxtrot handbook policy 605 on attendance, ensuring consistent and reliable presence at work.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all cleaning tasks consistently meet the quality expectations of the station, taking pride in your work.

Time Management

• Verify hours worked before the end of each payroll cycle to ensure accurate compensation.

Training Compliance

• Complete all required training as mandated by Foxtrot Aviation to stay updated on best practices and safety procedures.

Team Collaboration

• Cooperate with team members and supervisors to understand priorities, timelines, and daily goals, contributing to a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and obtain airport badging.
• Must be able to pass a drug test (this includes the recreational use of Marijuana)
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
• Capable of bending, twisting, lifting and using machinery such as buffers for extended periods of time.
• Perform general manual labor.
• Be comfortable working with heights.
• Open availability and flexibility with scheduling.
• Veterans must provide the form DD214 of discharge information if applicable.
