Job summary

Christian Life Center in Dayton, OH seeks a Facility Team II member. This Sub/Non-Exempt/Hourly role supports Facility Team I tasks, grounds activities, and basic maintenance of church facilities and equipment.

You will work with staff and volunteers, oversee small to large events, and ensure safe, clean, and welcoming spaces for worship and community activities through hands-on cleaning, upkeep, and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with other departments and congregants.
• Comply with cleaning standards of Christian Life Center.
• General cleaning: sweeping, carpet, floor, windows, mirrors.
• Clean, disinfect, and stock restrooms.
• Trash removal and storage organization.
• Room and event setup for services and activities.
• Follow safety standards for operation and equipment.
• Maintain storage areas and perform inventory of supplies.
• Set up, fill, drain, clean, tear down baptismal tank.
• Unlock and secure facility as requested; landscape care and campus upkeep.
• Operate lawn equipment and vehicles; assist in maintaining building.
• Snow removal and salting for walkways.
• Paint facilities and equipment; change filters and ceiling tiles.
• Change light bulbs; perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Other duties as assigned by Facility Manager.

PURPOSE

The Facility Team II staff will be responsible for all Facility Team I tasks, grounds activities and non-skilled maintenance of church facilities and equipment.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

The Facilities II team member is directly accountable for following all official and functional procedures and policies of Christian Life Center and is expected to engage in cooperative actions and relationships with the staff and congregation. On occasion, you may not agree with the philosophy or procedure used, but loyalty and support of the Lead Pastor and the rest of the staff are essential.

JOB RESONSIBILITIES:

• Unlock and secure facility as requestedCare and maintain landscaping, purchase materials and plants and maintain campus appearance
• Operate and maintain Bobcat, dump trailer, lawn equipment and vehicles
• Assist in maintaining equipment and building
• Snow removal and salting for all walkways
• Painting of facilities and equipment
• Change filters and ceiling tiles
• Change light bulbs
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, tests
• Other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager
