FMC Ice Sports is seeking a Facility Supervisor to oversee on-site staff and facilities, ensuring clean, safe, and healthy venues open to the public. You will drive an ice resurfacer and work hours include nights, weekends, and some holidays to support patrons and operations.
The role requires a HS diploma or GED, 21+ with a valid license, and at least 1 year of arena experience; resurfacer experience is preferred but training may be provided.
Facility Management Corporation, known as “FMC Ice Sports” was formed in 1992 to deliver high quality ice sport facility management and operations, as well as ice-based programs that benefit our communities and promote interest in both hockey and skating. We have established a record of quality operations and have grown to be the largest operator of public arenas in the United States. FMC operates 25 public ice‑skating arenas across the state of Massachusetts in long‑term partnership agreements with the Commonwealth and various municipalities as well as educational institutions.
The Facility Supervisor is responsible for on‑site supervision of staff and facilities to ensure that clean, safe and healthy facilities are available. Routine maintenance and janitorial functions of the facility while it is open to the public is required. The person will also drive and operate the ice resurfacer. Reporting to the General Manager or Arena Manager, this position will work alone and with other positions as required by the facility activities schedule. The work schedule will include nights, weekends, and some holidays as necessary to meet the needs of our patrons and to complete job responsibilities.
Full‑time seasonal (August – April) position.
Eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401K and earned time after eligibility period is met.
Base pay range: $24 – $28 per hour. Eligible for annual increase of 2% – 4% based upon performance. Eligible for year‑end discretionary bonus. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate.
