This Austin Energy position plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable facilities that support daily operations across the utility. The role performs routine building repairs and assists with construction and installation activities on assigned projects. It includes conducting site inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety concerns, and providing clear, timely reports on findings. The position works closely with contractors, vendors, and internal divisions to coordinate repairs, maintenance services, and building moves to ensure projects are completed successfully. Responsibilities also include compiling data, preparing cost estimates, and maintaining accurate project status reports. The role monitors lease agreements and maintenance, installation, and construction contracts to ensure compliance and timely execution. Additionally, it involves researching information as needed and providing responsive customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent, plus four (4) years relevant work experience. Experience may substitute for education up to the maximum of four (4) years.
