Allen Distribution in Palmetto, GA is seeking a dedicated Sanitation associate to join the Operations team. This full-time role with FLEX Part Time Scheduling supports daytime and evening coverage to maintain a clean, safe facility for our customer product.

You will vacuum, wipe and mop, inspect and replace bulbs, manage trash, and assist with safety and housekeeping tasks. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and obtain/maintain a forklift license. Prior reliability and a team attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs., sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to twist, squat and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to obtain forklift license.
• Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and clean bug lights as needed using hot soapy water. Replace bulbs.
• Empty trash daily in all areas of your building.
• Inspect refrigerators for spillage, clean with hot soapy water.
• Remove spider webs around forklift areas, racking and perimeters.
• Vacuum carpet areas; sweep and mop; clean lunchroom areas.
• Maintain clean windows and mirrors.
