Job summary

Innovative Ag Services in Ackley, IA seeks a versatile location technician to support daily operations, maintain equipment and facilities, and assist with farm supply and grain activities. You’ll perform repairs, maintain the chemical shed, and help keep the shop and warehouse safe and organized.

Requirements include a Class A CDL or ability to obtain, strong mechanical aptitude, and good math and communication skills. Occasional LP deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL or ability to obtain.
• Commercial Applicator Core Licensing (categories 1A, 1B, 1C, 7C).
• Mechanical aptitude for hydraulics and piping systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
• Math skills for basic operations.
• Assist with LP delivery during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Report to workplace on time; notify supervisor of lateness.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Operate and maintain equipment and facilities.
• Maintain the chemical shed and related records.
• Assist with shop tools inventory and replacement parts as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop and warehouse areas.
• Participate in safety and training programs.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Support other IAS locations as required.
