Overview: The Texas Institute for Electronics (TIE) is a University of Texas at Austin‑supported semiconductor consortium focused on developing next‑generation manufacturing technology. As a Facility Material Handler, you will support daily chemical, gas, and waste operations for a semiconductor manufacturing facility, ensuring safe material movement, sampling, packaging, and facility support across multiple locations.
Job requires a class “C” driver’s license. A current three‑year driving record from the current state of residence is required. If not a Texas resident, a Texas driver’s license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a resident. Employees subject to a CDL must undergo drug and alcohol testing.
TIE pays industry‑competitive salaries. Specific range not disclosed.
