Job summary

Leadec Holding is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support the maintenance team in preventive and corrective tasks across facility equipment. You will troubleshoot electromechanical and automation systems, including PLCs and drive systems, and log details in the Maximo CMMS.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of related maintenance/fabrication experience, preferably in automotive/industrial settings. Adherence to EHS and ISO standards is essential.

Job description

Position Purpose: Maintenance Technician II is responsible for supporting the maintenance team by executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring timely and effective repairs. This role focuses on the maintenance and repair of the equipment, materials, and the structure located in the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec.
• Works safely at all times.
• Maintain workspace in a safe and orderly fashion, adhering to all 5S standards.
• Perform PM tasks according to Maximo work orders.
• Accurately log task and equipment info into Maximo CMMS system.
• Provide high-level support for breakdown and repairs of general service and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical and automation equipment including PLCs, AC/DC Drive Systems, Robotic Systems.
• Perform additional technical responsibilities as assigned.
• Adhering to and supporting all EHS and Quality objectives, in accordance with ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 respectively .

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Communication Skills - Ability to communicate with all levels of Leadec and customer employees.

• Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
• Ability to work from schematics, manuals, and specifications.
• Ability to assist in training others.
• Technically skilled to recover equipment from faults and provide long-term solutions.
• Experience with maintenance tools and equipment (lathe, mill, grinders, drill press, etc.).
• Intermediate mechanical theory and fabrication skills.

• Work is performed in an industrial -manufacturing environment with occasional time spent working on a computer or at a desk .
