Job summary

Veterinary United is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support over 20 premier clinics across metro Detroit, Adrian, and Lansing. You’ll perform repairs, upgrades, and routine inspections to keep facilities safe, clean, and welcoming.

You should have at least 2+ years of maintenance experience, proficiency with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and hands-on skills in carpentry, painting, and custodial tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience.
• HVAC, electrical, and plumbing proficiency.
• Ability to perform carpentry, painting, and custodial tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including patching, painting, equipment repairs, and replacements.

• Conduct routine inspections across clinics to ensure safety and cleanliness.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections across all clinics to ensure operational safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain both interior and exterior environments to promote a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years' experience maintaining various building surfaces including walls, floors, and finishes.
• Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to utilize basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and custodial tools effectively.
