Job summary

Stellar Senior Living is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for a large senior living community in Helena, MT. The role focuses on keeping resident areas well-kept and serviced to high standards, with a friendly, detail-oriented approach and a Tuesday/Wednesday off schedule; Thursday to Monday, 1:30pm–10:00pm, 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include assisting with repairs, completing work orders, maintaining common areas, and helping with preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general maintenance and/or construction experience.
• Valid driver’s license for the state.
• Knowledge of maintenance practices in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Director in identifying repairs or replacements in apartments, rooms, common areas, landscaping, parking areas, etc.
• Complete work orders from residents and staff.
• Clean and maintain all common areas including lobby, stairways, hallways, and community bathrooms.
• Assist with preventative maintenance to refurbish or replace deteriorating items and avoid costly repairs.
• Complete special projects as directed.

Job Description

Our Facility Maintenance Technician is in charge of keeping our residents living areas well-kept and serviced to high standards. You should also be able to resolve resident complaint and queries promptly and in a polite manner. You are the right candidate if you are pleasant, detail-oriented and friendly. The schedule is Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Thursday-Monday 1:30pm to 10:00pm. 40 hour work week.

• Must be knowledgeable of maintenance practices and procedures in plumbing, electrical, hvac, etc.
