We have an excellent opportunity for a per diem Facility Maintenance Technician. This position provides building maintenance in support of the Dumfries and Fairfax Ambulatory Care Centers.

The Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Provides facility maintenance and repairs
• Handles repairs, cleaning, and other general upkeep for the building
• General tasks include, but not limited to, changing light bulbs, putting together appliances, fixing leaky sinks and toilets, and at times, rewiring electrical units
• Provides oversight to outside contractors performing any type of work in the facility not associated with medical equipment
• Maintains basic proficiency in the use of the software system that controls the magnetic door locks in the clinic and be able to perform basic trouble-shooting related to the timing of automatic locking and unlocking of clinic doors. Contact vendor expert help desk support as needed for magnetic door locking troubleshooting
• Maintains basic proficiency in the use of the software system that controls the recording and playback of our clinic security cameras. Contact vendor expert help desk support as needed for magnetic door locking troubleshooting
• Assists with other duties as needed and assigned
