Job summary

AAON is seeking a reliable Recycling Materials Handler at our Longview, TX facility to safely process incoming recyclables and prepare them for sale to brokers or mills. You will sort, stage, label, and track materials while maintaining strict safety standards and collaborating with the Manufacturing team for maximum efficiency.

The role emphasizes efficient space utilization, accurate inventory auditing, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsible for safely and efficiently processing incoming recyclable materials so that outbound commodities are acceptable for sale to various brokers or mills. Must prep for disposal and removal from facility.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluates recyclable organization for most efficient space utilization.
• Sorts, maintains, and stages product accurately.
• Adheres to and enforces strict safety standards.
• Provides the highest level of customer service to the Manufacturing team to maximize company success.
• Analyzes material flow and determines optimum control levels.
• Ensures recyclables are appropriately labeled and placed in accurate bin locations.
• Ensures adherence to auditing policies concerning inventory.
• Ensures maximum utilization of facilities.

Education and Experience Requirements

Degree(s): High School diploma, or equivalent.

Essential Physical Functions
