The Oregon Health Authority's Oregon State Hospital in Salem seeks a Facility Maintenance Specialist for routine and emergency upkeep across the hospital campus. You will perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, glass replacement, and general maintenance tasks, including wallpaper and painting, bulletin boards, and door hardware repairs.

Schedule is overnight, Mon-Thurs, 9pm–7am. Two years of trades experience and a journeyman license are preferred; alternative licenses may qualify.

Qualifications

• Two years of general building maintenance, carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, or plastering experience.
• A journeyman's license/card in any of the above trades substitutes for this experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance repairs across the hospital.
• Handle minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and glass replacement tasks.
• Install bulletin boards, repair walls and ceilings, and paint as needed.
• Assist with door hardware, locks, and hardware malfunctions.
• Respond to emergencies per safety protocols and support hospital staff.
