Job summary

Sam’s Club in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help shape the member experience by keeping parking areas clean, restrooms spotless, and floors fresh. You’ll be on your feet, in a fast-paced environment, and must maintain a positive attitude to ensure members have a great first and last impression.

You will perform safety checks, cleaning tasks, and respond to spills while upholding company procedures and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, restrooms, windows, trash receptacles) following procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of waste per Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores them properly, and places orders when low.
