Job summary

Sam's West, Inc. at Sam’s Club is seeking a Maintenance Associate to keep the facility clean and safe for members and associates. Expect to be on your feet most of the shift, maintaining restrooms, floors, and parking areas to create a positive first and last impression.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash according to Company program.
• Maintains appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies and ensures proper storage and rotation of chemicals; places orders when low.
